This is where the Samana Group Foundation plays an important role. One of its key objectives is to support the people of Samaná as the region develops.
We are currently looking for an English Teacher to join our educational activities in Monte Rojo and/or El Valle.
Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time, on-site position.
The English Teacher will be responsible for:
preparing lesson plans,
teaching English,
communicating effectively with students and colleagues,
maintaining student engagement,
supporting learning outcomes.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
English teaching and education skills,
Spanish as a first or second language,
experience in lesson planning and teaching English as a second language,
strong communication and interpersonal skills,
excellent organizational and time-management skills,
the ability to work both independently and collaboratively,
a strong motivation to inspire and support students,
a bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
Teaching certification, TEFL, or TESOL qualifications are considered an advantage.
